Topmonhit Story '09 April Fools Day Special: The King and the Prank is the first Topmonhit Story April Fool's Day Special. It involves Parnky and King Dedede trying to prank one another repeatedly.

Story
Early that morning on April 1st, Kirby walked out of his house, hopping happily while humming. He then noticed an apple on the ground. He went over and picked it up, but before he could eat it, it exploded in his face. In the bushes, King Dedede laughed to himself, having pulled the prank on Kirby. He had a full day of pranking planned for Kirby, and brought himself a lunch for it; as he pulled out a piece of meat from the basket, however, he didn't notice the string, and when he bit into it, it exploded on him. Parnky then came out of the ground, exclaiming "APRIL FOOLS!"
After the title, Parnky was talking to himself about how April Fool's Day was his favorite holiday, and trying to decide who to prank next. When he got to a bridge, however, a wooden stick came down, and a toll penguin told him it was a toll bridge. Parnky said he was a bum with no money, and the toll penguin said he couldn't pass. Parnky yanked Dedede's mustache off, though, and laughed at him, saying his prank failed. Parnky jumped over the wooden plank, but the bridge was just a painting, while the lake was real; he then fell into the lake, and Dedede, thinking he had paid Parnky back, left to go find Kirby. Parnky wasn't going to admit defeat, though.
Dedede went looking for Kirby, and after finding a sign that said "KIRBY THIS WAY" he followed it, finding Kirby. When he hit Kirby with his hammer, however, Kirby scattered into pink particles. Dedede began to panic, taking the particles, exclaiming that he never really meant to hurt Kirby and was sorry for what he did, when he saw Kirby behind him. Parnky came out of a tree, saying "APRIL FOOL'S" and Dedede slammed Parnky away with his hammer. He then told Kirby not to tell anyone or he would eat him.
A boxing glove then hit Dedede in the head, and Parnky appeared again in a bush, saying the one in the tree was a fake. Dedede sat up, but was now smiling, and told Parnky that was a great prank, possibly the best one ever. Parnky was ecstatic at hearing this until Dedede picked up Parnky and stuffed him in Kirby's mouth. Dedede returned to his castle, saying that April Fool's Day was only fun when he was the prankster, and when he went inside he began to slip on banana peels. Parnky came out from under Dedede's bed, saying April Fool's, but then Dedede grabbed Parnky while slidin around!
The two slid over to the stairs and began to fall all the way down them to the very bottom. At the end of the day, they were in bandages, Dedede was in a sling, and Parnky had an eyepatch. Parnky admitted to maybe going a bit overboard, and got Dedede a present for a peace offering. Dedede had done the same, but when they opened the presents, both had a pie that sprung out and hit the opener.
Trivia
- Although Kirby only says "poyo" in this story, Topmonhit plans to have him speak normally in later appearances.
- The "title" at the beginning is done in a way similar to recent Homestar Runner Halloween credits, where they simply say how the credits are always the same and "blah blah blah".
