Eli Hedgington is the character that Wary seems to have the most fun working with the story of. He is a short human boy with spiky red hair accented by a pair of goggles that often protect his green eyes from his heavy uses of magic. He wears a large green cloak and carries a wrench at his belt. Eli is a very sarcastic, intelligent young boy who always has an eye on the ladies.
However, he also has a secret (which admittedly is not very secret anymore): his two alter egos, Rasuke and Garzon, who not only act as alternate personalities, but physically transform. The boy was actually born as Rasuke, who was raised in the world of Aeropyr to hate the natives of the world, the Salamanders. Still, they taught him many special techniques, and he now resembles a sort of characteristic ninja.
He did not yet know that the one he'd been dropped off there by was Princess Syla, his mother. This contradicts the fact that Enni is his mother, but this is still a complicated matter (think about it.)
Later Garzon appeared. Because of his red skin, claws and odd features, he was mistreated by everyone around him and began to hate everyone around him. His only friend was a half-Salamander, half-Demon child named Charos. At this point, their memories were all separate, and he killed what he didn't know to be his--Rasuke's, really--adoptive parents.
Through much misunderstanding the two kept trying to confront one another until one day Rasuke looked into a mirror and saw his other half. Trying to kill it, he was sucked into the other side of the mirror for a few moments. When he came back, the village was not quite the same. In place of Charos, he met a girl named Carisa. His feelings for her eventually sprouted Eli himself.
Eli realized what was going on with his transformations very quickly. He also realized that Carisa's presence kept him in one form indefinitely, so he refused to leave her side even when Aeropyr was broken apart by the New Colonists that had forced his mothers to run and leave him behind. Eventually, though, he did some research on ways to combat it. At the same time, he forged a pendant with some of Carisa's blood to seal the other two sides and stop them from causing any more trouble. Then he bid her farewell and left Aeropyr for another dimension.
His first actual appearance was in Grodus Rising. He spent a long time with the X-Naut conscripts and was noticably closest to the leader, Litera, before that betrayal. He also was very good friends with Paper. He met Amphy, Christopher, and Ripvor at that time as well, all of which he would meet at another point in time. Near the end, his two other sides were revealed but little else.
In the Top Story Revenge on SWDF, he met Ripvor a second time and joined his party. He was shocked to find his mother Enni on the other side, but because of the uneven timelines between the dimensions she had no clue who he was yet. At this point in time, he had a particularly hostile meeting with Subsourian as well, which would come back to bite him later.
In his first position as the main character, Ius Mystery, Eli sought out a source of power said to have been left by a previous visitor from his dimension. However, the force of Strange Island broke his necklace, causing renewed instability. He entered the Temple and proceeded into the first world, Yoki Yoki Painting, where he met a girl named Blossi. It's implied that they did dirty things, suggesting that Eli really is a "ladies' man" and doesn't care about Carisa anymore. She was slightly alienated when Garzon appeared again, but later Wepro helped calm them down. As they faced off against Subsourian in the second world, Fire Emblem Gameboy, the three made a close team.
