In 2004 and 2005, the campers could spend 25 tickets for a long range shot or 50 tickets for a closer shot, which had a higher probability of hitting the counselor. If the camper misses, and the counselor is a good sport, he/she will pie him/herself (e.g. Tim Yang on the first pie in 2004, a miss by Diane Peng. But if he had known he was going to be pied about 6 more times, he probably wouldn't have pied himself).
