Griet is 18 and lives in London. She is very fond of theatre and is very active in it. She wishes to become a professional actor. She is the youngest daughter of Charlene Heineken and Michel de Carvalho. Her journal is hiddenpyre @ LJ. She currently has a crush on a boy named Miles. All we know is that he is in her theatre group. Hmm. >:D
Her full name is Griet Saskia Dorothea Katrijn de Carvalho-Heineken. She insists on using it whenever she can because she thinks it sounds neat.

Griet is the second youngest in the Carvalho-Heineken family. When she was six years old, she “accidentally” (well, we don't know, really) relieved Casper of an eye with a light dagger. This is where his power comes from. Oooh.
After Mieke left to live in Amsterdam, Griet continued to grow with her family, finding herself participating in some way in almost every aspect of the fine arts – instruments, chorus, drama, painting, and so forth. She has become very passionate about these subjects and it's all she ever talks about nowadays.
Her silbings are Johannes, Mieke, Casper, and Anke.

Griet is a very expressive and emotional person. A skilled actor, she would really like to act professionally but has to tend to her family's business first. She loves being around people, just like her sister, and her outgoing personality helps her make friends easily. She's a very enjoyable person to be around. If you ask Casper, he'd call her a brat, but she says he's just sour about the whole eye poking incident.

Griet can conjure light daggers that stun a target by sapping its vitality. The light can also heal certain physical dependencies.

Casper and Griet have an odd relationship. He enjoys holding his grudge against her for the whole eye-poking thing. It's obvious he cares (when he's not too lazy) but really doesn't say it. She gets fed up with him sometimes but usually puts up with him.
Mieke and Griet have a normal relationship between sisters, as do Griet and Anke.
Johannes and Griet have a pretty normal relationship. It's just that Johannes, well, isn't normal. 8)
Despite the fact that the whole family can't help but laugh at Antonio for his name, Griet finds him rather nice. And cute. It's the ears.
