Basics
Tinka is ... Speshul. :')
History
Tinka was born in 1983 to a wealthy family guilty of many things but mainly snobbery. Her mother was a lush who loved to gossip and her father worked for the Parliament, her older sister Verena was their Golden Child, often leaving Tinka on her own while they attended Verena's violin recitals. Tinka grew up being raised by the help, her father always working and her mother always off taking care of Verena. Needless to say, she hated it.
When Tinka was 13, she had a very vivid and violent nightmare which caused her powers to activate. Sadly, she charged her bed with the biokinetic energy she would later learn to focus. The resulting explosion knocked her across the room and set fire to the north wing of the von Stefan estate. Her parents shunned her, calling her a freak and throwing her out of the house.
With nowhere else to go, Tinka became a hoodrat on the streets of London, picking pockets for spare charge and stealing what food she could. She spent half a year sleeping in parks and stairwells and living on the streets. When she turned 14 she went out and found herself a job washing dishes in a small restaurant. The owner was kind enough to let her live in one of the spare rooms above as long as she kept out of trouble. She kept her stealing to a minimum and stayed off the streets at night, she even went back to school.
And she's been staying out of trouble, Michael (the restaurant owner) has kept up his side of the bargain and even helped her hone her abilities and acted like the father-figure she never had.
Just recently she was sent an invitation to join an online community, she has no clue what it's about or why it's important that she joins it but Michael suggested it would give her a chance to meet new people and maybe find new friends.
After joining the community she quickly adapted to her fate and fell into place amongst the Seals. She almost immediately found herself very attached to Jack Brant and began what would become almost two months flirting before they actually went on a date. While she's still completely clueless about relationships and hasn't had her first kiss, she really cares for Jack and wants to do all she can to protect him. In some strange turn of events, Tinka became very close with Erich Köhler as well. She considers him a person to look up to and really hopes to break him of his nicotine habit (she has a snowball's chance in hell of actually accomplishing this).
Having found Skuld after a battle with Matty, Tinka became a little quieter having finally gotten a taste of the war. Shortly after Matty's death it was revealed that Nicola had been killed by Rayton and Tinka sank into a bit of a depression. She was shy and withdrawn until her guardian Michael was killed by Stephen in his sleep. This knocked a bit of sense into her and she let a bit of a violent, angry side show. During this, Tinka found an anchor in Jack; learning that sometimes it's better to talk about one's problems. It's unsure whether or not she'll act on this new-found rage and attack Stephen.
She's just recently moved in with Erich to avoid being sent to an orphanage.
Personality
Tinka has a strong personality, she likes to act like she's tough but really, she's just as tough as any other 15 year old girl out there. She's very confident but harsh criticism can leave her hurting. She loves to talk, she doesn't care what about so long as she's got someone to listen.
She's bubbly and free-willed and loves being fifteen. She feels like she can do anything now that she's free of her parents shadow. She doesn't like to mention her last name when introducing herself (out of fear that people will recognize she was the disowned child of a higher up in Parliament) and rarely talks about her parents.
Tinka, while still the constant optimist, has found a quiet side. She doesn't talk as much at school and she gives up easily when someone tries to start an argument with her. Any mention of Michael or Nicola will cause her usual disposition to make a complete 180, leaving her in tears or silent frustration.
Powers
Tinka can transfer her own life force into other objects. This excess of energy typically ends in an explosion, depending how much energy she forces into an object. The force energy she transfers, the more energy she loses.
