William Hague (born March 26, 1961) is the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and leader of the Conservative Party. He became leader of the Conservative Party following the resignation of David Cameron after the 2010 general election and became Prime Minister after the success of his party at the 2016 general election.

IMF and World Bank Reform
As part of his agreement with the Liberal Democrats, Hague put reform of the twin global financial organizations of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on the agenda. He proposed increasing the control over the organizations by debtor nations and loosening the geographic location requirements of the heads of each organization.
