Elizabeth Anne Daniels was born on July 4, 1980 in Jacksonville, Florida. Her father, Thomas Daniels, was a very successful attorney in the Jacksonville are but he is now retired. Her Mother, Francesca, is the daughter of Cuban immigrants and became a successful dentist. Elizabeth attended Florida State University from 1998 to 2004 where she receive a Masters in History and a BS in Economics. After graduating from college she was hired to be the assistant to the Mayor of Jacksonville, a job she held for two years. She used her time with the Mayor to gain political experience and was elected to the Jacksonville City Council. In 2009, Elizabeth ran for an open seat in the Florida House of Representatives and won. She was very popular and in 2014 she was elected to the Florida Senate. In 2019 there was a special election for an open seat in the United States Hosue of Representatives and Elizabeth Anne Daniels won by a very large margin. Elizabeth has been married to her husband Kevin for 16 years and the couple has three daughters and an adopted son (he was the son of Elizabeth's deceased brother.)
Elizabeth is a conservative Democrat.
