The United States presidential election of 2016, scheduled to be held on November 8, 2016, will be the 57th consecutive quadrennial election for president and vice president of the United States. The election will coincide with the 2016 Senate elections, House of Representatives elections, and gubernatorial elections, as well as many regional and local elections.

President Elizabeth Warren was ineligible to run for a third term, meaning neither party would have an incumbent running for re-election.
