Peter Vandenberg has served as a Senator from the Ohio Valley since 2017, a former Secretary of Defense in the second term of President Elizabeth Warren and former Governor of Appalachia. He is one of the most senior US politicians who is not a natural born citizen, making him constitutionally ineligible for the office of President of the United States.
