United States Senate
The United States Senate is one of the two chambers of the bicameral United States Congress, the other being the House of Representatives. It is known informally as the "upper house." The Senate consists of 32 senators divided over the 16 regions in USA.
Current majority
After the 2010 elections, the Senate was evenly divided 16-16. However, after Cascadia Democratic Senator Danielle Morgenthau resigned, Republican Governor Eric Morrison appointed her replacement, giving the Senate to the Republicans.
