Olude Gordon Carter

Olude Gordon Carter was born on July 22nd 1979 to Herbert and Christina Carter. His parents were working class individuals who worked hard their entire life to make sure Olude would be able to go to school and make something of himself. His dad worked in a local plant, working long hours to make sure his family was taken care of. His mother, a public school teacher, taught Olude about the importance of Education. She told him it was the way he could achieve all his dreams.

Olude graduated from High School and attended UC-Berkley for his bachelors degree in Political Science. Upon graduation he got accepted to UCLA, and recieved a law degree. Returning to Oakland, Olude worked his way up in the Alameda County prosecutor's office, eventually becoming the head prosecutor. He was infamous for his tough stances against corruption and crime. In 2006 he ran for Mayor of Oakland winning in a landslide.

As a kid who had to work hard to get everything he has in life, he has a disdane for those who are handed everything in life by their parents.

Olude won the Democratic Nomination for Senate in California.
