• In Dehli, Nick Fury is investigating an underground lab for the illegal experimentation on mutant embryos. He is subdued. In the following 24 hours he is moved to a terrorist location close to the Kashmir border. S.H.I.E.L.D. negotiates with Weapon X to retrieve Fury.

• Colonel Wraith informs S.H.I.E.L.D. that they have executed Xavier. In reality they have kept him under sedation in an attempt to use him to locate more mutants with the help of Cerebro.

• Weapon X doctors (led by Doctor Cornelius) experiment on Beast to enhance his abilities. The side effects cover him with hair and make him more animalistic.

• The X-Men are conditioned to become members of Weapon X.

• Jean Grey communicates to Nightcrawler with telepathy to break the language barrier.

• A Weapon X team (Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Storm, and Cyclops)is deployed in India to complete the assignment that Nick Fury was on at the time of his capture. A second team (Beast, Colossus, and Iceman) is deployed in Nepal to retrieve Fury from his captors.

- Nick Fury is shown to have hair.

- Nightcrawler is identified by Colonel John Wraith to be 14 years old.

- Wraith refers to Sabretooth as a “Poor man’s Wolverine”.

- Wraith refers to Rogue as a Marilyn Manson fan.

- Nightcrawler lived in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps as a kid.

- Nightcrawler pictures Jean Grey in her underwear during their telepathic conversation.
