• Xavier is contacted by the Worthington family and is requested to take their son Warren to his school. • Warren Worthington (Angel) comes to Xavier’s school. His winged appearance causes many people to mistake him for a biblical angel and 2 days later, a crowd of fanatics arrive at the school. It is revealed that Beast allowed this information to be leaked through an internet message board. The looks that Warren is receiving cause him to flee from the school. • Xavier orders storm to track Warren down because he sensed that Warren was attracted to her. This statement causes uneasiness in Beast who is dating Ororo. • Ororo talks Warren into coming back and he goes to talk to the crowd gathered at the school gates, he tells them that he is a mutant, not an angel. The angel phenomenon is passed off in the media as a mutant hoax.
