• J. Jonah Jameson discusses with the Daily Bugle staff that he wants information on Spider-Man for the next edition of the Bugle.

• Peter perfects his father’s formula for molecular adhesive and uses it to create web shooters to use as Spider-Man.

• The next day, Peter breaks another desk in half at school. He reveals to the class that he has quit the basketball team. Harry Osborn returns to school. Peter and MJ try to console him over the loss of his parents when the school is attacked by the large monstrous figure that attacked the Osborn home. Peter disappears to change into his costume and appears to fight the monster.

• During the fight, the monster carries Peter away from the school muttering the word “Pppprrrrkkkkeerrr”.

Notes:

- JJJ identifies the Daily Bugle’s competition as the New York Globe and the New York Journal.

- Ben Ulrich is revealed to be working on a new story on the Kingpin. JJJ refers to this as the Murdock case.

- When JJJ shows the day’s edition of the Bugle, it can be seen that the headline refers to the Osborn house burning. From this we can infer that the events of Ultimate Spider-Man 5 occurred the previous day.

- There is no time specified between the events of JJJ at the Bugle and Peter perfecting the molecular adhesive. With all of the wrap-up of Ben’s death, and the fact that Harry says in Ultimate Spider-Man 7 that the Osborn Industries accident occurred last week, I would assume that at least 5 days has passed.
