Kubuntu is a user friendly operating system based on KDE, the K Desktop Environment. With a predictable 6 month release cycle and part of the Ubuntu project, Kubuntu is the GNU/Linux distribution for everyone.
In this page, I'm describing how I setup my Kubuntu as my development environment and office PC. Development is focused on ARM-Linux cross-compilation development and not for desktop applications.
Installation of Kubuntu is done using it's LiveCD version 6.06.
