What is an Administrator?
An administrator on TP is a member who has ultimate control over the board. Everything goes through the Admins; no idea can be implemented without prior approval from one or all of the Admins. As an Administrator you have lots of extra powers that you do not have as a member; for example, you can ban somebody with the click of a button, edit all posts, and make new forums. All of our admins are willing to answer any questions you have about the site, and would love to help you. If you need an Admin for something, do not hesitate to PM one of them with your query, and they will answer it ASAP.
I'm sure you're probably thinking, "Wow, that sounds cool, I could do that!" Well, I'm afraid it doesn't work like that on TP. Administrators are voted on to the team by the admins, so asking will get you nowhere. The only exception to this rule is if we ADVERTISE for an admin.
Our advice would be to be as active as you can, follow the rules, contribute, give ideas, and just be a good member on the whole. Then, maybe, when we have a vacancy, you could be considered for an admin position.
