Physical Description

Standing at about 6"1 he is tall for his age but he isn't going to grow any bigger. Soft facial features build up his gentle loving face; slender ears with elf like points poke up into his beautiful thick dirty-blone hair. It has a left parting and it sweeps to the right very gentlemanly, but often he would change it to suit whatever he felt it should look like. His eyes would constatnly change colours every so often but they seemed to prefer being light blue, very light blue which complemented his hair. Having well built muscles he often hid the fact that he had them because he doesn’t like the idea of being strong. Slender body and gentle touch gave him the look of a true English gentleman. Long arms yet not gangly and long fingers made him very dextrous but the smooth silk like skin of which he is made makes every move of his like a piece of art.

Brief History

Born in a large manor in the outskirts of London, Raiden was brought up with his two pure blood parents. Both of them your traditional pure bloods, though not evil they brought him up thinking they were better than everyone else. Raiden had always had a dislike to such attitudes; he liked to get on with everyone and anyone. Having strict parents brought him up to be disciplined, well mannered and respectful to everyone he met, but of course his parents didn’t approve giving respect to half-borns and muggle-borns. At the age of five, he attended a muggle primary school, private of course, even though his parents didn’t approve of it being run by muggles. However, they could not home educate him, as they were not qualified to do such a thing. Raiden made many friends and learned, even more so, that everyone was the same regardless of their blood and a lot of the time pureblood wizards were less friendly than the non-purebloods.

At the this point in time he picked up the enjoyment of swordplay and other muggle weapons by going on camps with his local scouting group which he enjoyed attending. Taking up lessons in all the muggle offensive and defensive arts including martial arts. Not that he was ever planning on using them on another human being or even an animal for that matter. Not liking hurting people or thinking of people being hurt it was ironic that he was very skilled in the doing the opposite but he stuck to his morals and only used these skills in practise times.

When he received his letter to Hogwarts, he wasn’t remotely surprised but that didn’t stop him being excited. Wanting to learn how to do proper magic, not the insignificant tricks his parents had taught him, he went and got all the items he would need the day he received the letter. Money was never a problem with rich parents but he still liked to earn his own by doing helpful things like the local paper round. It was with this money, transferred to galleons, that he bought his equipment.

Hogwarts gave him some of the best years of his life. Here, he met people who were like him, people he could talk to about his real home life not the false stuff he had to make up when with the muggles. Magic came easy to him and he got better as he rose through the school but he stuck to his beliefs and never used it to hurt anyone, ever. In his fifth year he noticed the Quidditch Captain, Wolf Wood had captured his heart. She was so beautiful, so intelligent and so nice to everyone she was with; even his Potions Master respected her highly. The one problem was that she was with Seth Ecken, a boy he had always been scared of and didn’t want to challenge. If Wolf loved him then it was not his place. All through the rest of his fifth and through out his sixth year he acted as though it didn’t bother him but he was sure his friends knew, deep down but didn’t want to point it out. Now in his seventh year, who know what will happen?

Personality

A loving kind gentle boy who cares too much about everyone especially those closest to him. A man of many morals some would say but he knew that you can't always stick to morals to save your friends, not that he was particularly good at saving people. Being very skilled in all forms of muggle combat and rather good at magic you’d think him a great saviour but he has a large fear of hurting people, it is only when pressed he will hurt someone. His muscular, sleek build may make him look a little tough at times but all you had to do was his movement, the swift, sleek pace of a gentleman that you can see just the sort of person he is. The muscles only come from his training in all forms of combat by his parents. Sometime he can get very lonely and sad but the company of people he loves always cheers him up. Throughout school he’s always had a soft spot for Wolf but he was so scared to approach her because he knew Seth was a powerful wizard and didn’t want to be accused of trying to steal her.

Strengths, Weaknesses, Hobbies and Interests

A boy of much skill, Raiden is both strong at magic and muggle combat. However, this is not where his strongest passions lie. Quidditch remains a strong passion of his, having a gentle touch and a slender body made up for his size when flying. Being very aerodynamic made him perfect for the role of seeker and his keen sight doubled his usefulness for this position. The arts are also among his great interests; he can't play any instruments but has a wonderful singing voice and is also a very good actor, preferring musicals to straight plays as he finds them more enjoyable and emotional which furthered the acting involved. Art itself is a love of his, he is a magnificent drawer and draws some of the most beautiful pictures, however, he is abysmal in all meanings of the word at any other art for example painting and sculpting. When he tried either of these things the painting would look like a multi-coloured fried egg, which had broken, or a collection of rocks on a cliff side, hardly desirable art.

Fighting, he hates all forms of it, unless it is fun, harmless battle between friends where there was no intent of pain or any hate involved. Like the battles he used to have at his duelling club with his friends and from where had gained most of his muggle weapon skill. Any sort of fighting other than that is something he avoids like the plague, the fear of causing hurt or pain to anyone scared him especially if it was a girl. He would stick up for people if they were being picked on and would only ever resort to violence as a last resort and that would only be a stunner or a simple no-pain spell. Luckily, his height and build scared some people away before he had to do anything. Over-protective, over-caring, over-loving that is him in a nutshell, he had confidence too, lots of it but that vanished when he was in the vicinity of the girl that made his insides flip, in a good way, whenever she came past.
