Robin, aka Richard Grayson

Though he is in his teen years, Robin can pack a punch- literally, that is. Trained by the legendary Batman in his younger years, he uses the moves he learned to serve justice when needed. He is the official leader of Titans West.

Outfit

Robin adorns a cape, a suit that is a modified version of the one he received from Batman during his younger years, an eye-mask, and steel-bottomed shoes.

Past

Robin, as a young child, was part of an aerobatic trio with his parents for an act in a circus, called "The Flying Graysons". One day, the circus owner had refused to pay protection money to a gang leader, and so, the gang leader promised to make the circus owner regret his decision. That night, during the act, Robin's parent's ropes were cut, and they were sent falling to their doom (partially seen in the animated Teen Titans episode "Haunted"). Robin was rescued by Batman, whose own parents was killed one night by a criminal after a play, who was taking him from the custody of the police officers, and gave him a home. Robin was eventually integrated into fighting crime with Batman, after a name change to Robin (as he was still Richard up to this point), and got his title as "Robin, the Boy Wonder".

After a few years with working with Batman, his hot tempered-ness got him to separate from Batman, and fight crime on his own. He eventually ended up in Jump City, and formed the Teen Titans.

Trivia

• Robin has only taken his eye mask off once- in the Teen Titans movie. However, the camera shot prevented us from seeing his eyes, and once he had stepped out, he was wearing the thug's eyeglasses.

•  :It is a hot topic for fans on what color Robin's eye color is. Some argue that it is Black, Blue, (Steel) Gray, Green, and even differently colored (one eye is not the same color as the other).

• Robin is the only Teen Titan without powers, and must need assistance from the mechanical gadgets he has in order to help fight crime.
