Gay Pride

Gay pride refers to a group of lions who gather yearly to parade through the streets of Bristol.

The parade typically lasts between 10 and 12 hours and culminates in an elaborate ceremony where one lion is crowned the Lion King.

There has been much speculation as to why they do this. Many people believe that the lions are making a silent declaration of independence but recent rumours have suggested that it is a marketing ploy to promote the Lion Bar.

The London Pride may have been created in tribute to this group.
