Deep down he is a rather bitter person but tends to keep that locked up inside of him. He has a huge love for children NOT THAT WAY, K THNX and will do anything to protect them. Though he has gotten better, he is still a kind of shoot first and ask questions later kind of guy, all in all though, he is a good guy.

He has an amazing shot with his gun and keen senses, he also has the strength to lug around his huge ass cross.

[edit] History

Wolfwoods childhood was anything but happy, when he was young he was sexual molested and abused by his step father until one day he had enough. He took his step-dads gun and shot him with it, after the deed was done he escaped out into unknown before he was picked up by a man named Chapel. Wolfwood became his student of the and got into the gang called the Gung-Ho Gun, which is run by Knives. It is strongly hinted that Wolfwood would have inherited his mentors title once Chapel completed his service to Knives. Although he is a professional killer, Chapel seems to sincerely care for his ward. Wolfwood was sent out on a mission to keep track of Vash and relay information back to the gang about his movements but actually becomes very good friends with him, although his and Vash's philosophies often conflict, Wolfwood being a firm believer in martialism while Vash is a pacifist. By the end of the series, he agrees with Vash's way of thinking even though it costs him dearly. He betrays his mentor and knives and sides with Vash. Vash changed his life, he believes, for the better. Wolfwood's purpose is to raise money for the children in the orphanage he runs. Ironically, Wolfwood dies because he embraces Vash's beliefs. He spares Chapel after defeating him, and Legato proceeds to control Chapel and shoots Wolfwood.
