Yukino is the epitome of vain. She does all that she can to look and act perfect in everyone else's eyes except her family's since they already know her flaws. She strives to be number 1 and will stoop to any means necessary to do it, though she isn't as bad as she used to be. Now that she's older, she lets her entrepreneurship show through and isn't above charging people for her services.

She can study for hours, memorize things easily because of her religious study habits, is very intelligent, and quite capable of being conniving.

Miyazawa Yukino grew up in a normal family with a mother, father, and later on, two younger sisters. She was a good student and soon discovered that by being a good student, she got PRAISE. And when she was praised, she wanted MORE of it and soon, she began to mold herself into the model person �at least on the outside-so that she could get as many kudos and pats on the back as she could. Being number 1 and having everyone�s eyes on her became her life and she reveled in the positive attention.
However, when she got into high school, she was overshadowed by one Arima Soichiro. She vowed revenge on him for beating her in the entrance exams and made it her goal to best him and take back the #1 spot. She became obsessed with it, and even after he confessed his love to her, she brushed it off and continued on her path to vengeance until he discovered her secret: that she wasn�t perfect and was completely unglamorous at home. He conned her into helping him with school work by threatening to reveal her secret and things continued on this way until she got tired of being used. He then confessed he did it because he needed the help and because he wanted to spend time with her.
Eventually, Yukino also developed a crush on Soichiro, and after misunderstandings and embarrassment, they become boyfriend and girlfriend. They go through high school together with the classic school festival scenes, friends interfering, and even the teachers trying to break them up when their grades fell, but get through it all with hardly a scratch, growing closer by the day� until Yukino decided she wasn�t going to try to be number one anymore. She would only shoot for the top ten so she could have a social life and have fun with her friends. Her journey to become a well-rounded person threw Soichiro into turmoil.
After this happened, unbeknownst to her, Soichiro started to pull away from her and began to act like the perfect boyfriend, burying himself into the role until he finally snapped under the pressure when his mother decided to seek him out. He rejected everyone except Asaba, who was their mutual friend, but had always been closest to Soichiro outside of his girlfriend. Yukino never gave up and saw it through to the end, showing that she�s really stubborn, never gives up on people who are important to her, and can take all kinds of abuse if she feels the end result is worth it.
At the end of the series before the time-jump, Soichiro overcomes his childhood traumas and comes to terms with his own desire to succeed. Yukino and Soichiro are engaged to be married and she is pregnant with their first child� because I don�t want to RP a pregnant lady, I�m going to skip that part of the canon, if that�s alright. 8D;
