Matt is generally quiet and keeps to himself. Although he may not go outside but when ordered to go do something by Mello, he follows it without any questions. If there’s something he doesn’t agree with he will make it known that he doesn’t approve. The teen is always seen smoking a cigarette along with his head into some kind of video game console or hand held device. He is also one of the children prodigies from the same orphanage as Mello and Near, even though he comes out in third place. Powers/Abilities: Matt isn’t your typical super hero. In general, he is pretty much like everyone else expect that he is smart. The teen has very high hacking skills in which he can pretty much get into anything that he needs to from cracking codes to other high computer systems. He can even take apart a computer and put it back together without screwing anything up. Along with that set ability, Matt is very good with hands. If he needs to use any kind of weapon, he will be able to use it without a problem along with any other devices.

Mail Jeevas had a perfectly normal life with his parents. Although they had many problems, he couldn’t complain much. Throughout grade school, he had been gifted with knowing more then anyone else in his class. One day he decided to skip school entirely because he had been bored. As he went back home, he found out that both of his parents were going to go through a divorce. Obviously when things look like they are going to be fine something bad always sneaks up behind.
During the entire trial, it had been said that he would be staying with his father. Which would turn out to be even worse for the young seven year old Jeevas, once the parents had separated his father went to alcohol for answers and drown him self pity away from the pain of leaving his wife would cause to him.
When Mail came home from skipping school again the school had took liberty to calling his father to let him know. His father had been drunk and in a rage that he took it upon himself to give his boy a lesson. Broken and in pain Mail vowed that he would ran away from the place he had called home.
As he claimed himself to be an orphan, he met a man by the name of Qullish Wammy. Mail didn’t know exactly what he had gotten himself into but he knew that he would find a better and happier life if he went with this man.
The young boy didn’t know if he did it out of being bored or because he had nowhere else to go. Once he got to the orphanage, he realized he wouldn’t be alone any more or be different from anyone since all of the children here were gifted. This was the place he would truly call home and become Matt.
At the place he now called home, he established himself with getting what the brand new technology had been at the time, which happened to be the Gameboy Advance. He got every game possible and would beat them within a few days time. Eventually when a better new hand held system came out, he would get it and buy the games for it as well just because it would occupy his time.
Matt hardly would go outside as instructed to by the caretaker of the orphanage, Roger. He didn’t like the man for various reasons and each time he had been pushed to go do something he would have to explain his reason why. One day he had enough and chose a place to hide out but little did he know he would also run into Mello but also on that day they became friends.
When Matt did go outside it was only for one person, Mello, he had grown use to the fact that he would listen to the blonde boy rather than anyone else. Almost like a dog would to his master the master giving him an order and he’ll do it. He didn’t understand why he grown attached and even fooled around with the boy other than the fact that he never had any friends before but Matt knew that he would be able to trust him.
At the middle of the year of 2005 Mello and Near had the knowledge of a certain death. Matt didn’t find out about it until later when he found Mello disappeared right when he turned fifteen. No word of it was told to him not even a letter explaining where the blonde had gone to. He knew he would be able to go find his friend after another month but by that time he might not have any kind of leads.
In the year of 2009, Matt established himself into a nice high tech apartment for all of his personal needs. What the red head hadn’t thought about was Mello contacting him telling him to meet up with him since it had been urgent and important. Matt wanted to ask questions then but decided against it and went off to see his friend. As he arrived and saw Mello with the scar he knew something big happened so all he could do was to be patient and wait.
When Mello told him everything that he had been up to the blonde, finally come to the point as to why he needed Matt’s help finally. Matt had accepted his fate knowing that there was a potential threat of him being killed. He didn’t care as long as he was with his true friend and true partner he would do anything to help him he felt useful and safe around Mello.
January 26 2010 had been the plan for both of them to make and kidnap Kiyomi Takada. Matt had helped Mello out by shooting a smoke bomb at her guards which lead to him making a quick get-a-way but in the end happened to get into car chase and then ultimately his death.
