Ichigo is a gruff, angry looking 15 year old high school student. He faced constant teasing and violence because of his orange hair, and fighting people seems to be the one thing he enjoys doing. Because he blames himself for his mother's death, he does everything he can to make himself stronger, to protect those he cares about. He tries to maintain a tough guy, detached image which quickly turns to spazzing if boobs or lack of clothing is involved.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
Can use the badge to seperate his soul from his body, which gives him shinigami powers. He can activate Bankai, which concentrates his power, making him incredibly fast and strong for a short period of time. He can also active his inner hollow for less than ten seconds, making him incredibly powerful and nearly unstopable for that ammount of time, however afterwards it leaves him weak and exhusted. The gate has weakened his powers, and he can only stay in bankai for a minute or two, and can't even use his hollow powers. Also, seems to contain 3 times the ammount of blood a normal person does, and is harder to kill than a cockroach.

Ichigo lives with his father, and two sisters, in a clinic that his father runs. He attends a high school with a few other people he knows. He lived a normal life until a Shinigami named Rukia came to his house, sensing his spiritual powers. After trying to kick her out, a hollow attacked his house and family, and Rukia was wounded trying to save them. After pleading with her, Rukia transfered her powers to Ichigo, and he became a substitute Shinigami. After several events with them, including rescuing Rukia from execution in Soul society, which was a plot by Aizen, they learned of the existance of Vizard and Arrancar. Ichigo joined up with the Vizard for a short time in order to get stronger to rescue Orihime, who had beed kidnapped by the Arrancar. They traveled to Heco Mundo where the group was split up, and Ichigo went with Nel to fight more Arrancar, when he was eventualy defeated by the 5th espada, Nel regained her adult form, but soon reverted back, and was easily defeated. Zaraki Kenpachi arrived to save the day, and take the fight, and that was the last Ichigo remembered before passing out and waking up in the snow by the gate.
