[edit] Personality

As clichéd as it sounds, Heat embodies everything that his name is and more by being a very violent, hot-headed, and badly tempered individual. All throughout the course of both games, he seems to express how he really feels only through things that would hurt others intense sarcasm, violence, and, even, yes, killing people to get his point across and seems to have very little care as to what people outside of his circle say, do, or go through.

He has conflicting emotions towards Sera and Serph in particular (he is in a sense infatuated with Sera, though he never understands why, which gives him a lasting rivalry with Serph in attaining Seras attention).

It is not so much his fault that he lashes out at others with his anger it is that, as a person used to not even knowing what emotion is, he has no idea how to control or even douse it.

However, he also has a rational side. When the Karma Temple informed the Embryon on how the world must work kill or be killed, basically -- he accepted it without a fight, and even went on to enjoy his newfound Godhood by becoming the only member of the Embryon who had no problem with accepting the fact that he must devour others to survive.

Hes impulsive, rash, and does what it takes to get the job done whether or not he has to get rid of anyone in his way. Before his awakening, he was actually a fairly calm, collected character who would dutifully follow any order Serph would give him.

[edit] Powers and Abilities

CANON: Aside from being in excellent physical condition for a human, Heat is also proficient in basic to advanced firearms (machine guns, grenade launchers, etc), hand-to-hand combat, and all the rest of the things one would need to survive a dystopian society where your position/way of life completely revolves around killing others and staying alive. This is where the similarities he shares with your average human soldier end, however, as the Fireball Atma on his right arm (a symbol/tattoo given to him by a Goddess, basically) enables him to transform into his worlds rather demonic representation of the Vedic God of Fire, Agni. In this form, Heat is strongly aligned to a specific element (Fire, which makes him extraordinarily weak to ice and ice-based attacks), is strong enough to be a match against/kill and devour most other non-immortal supernatural beings*, and also seems to grow in strength when he eats other demons or creatures with Atma/a soul inside of them. Depending on how he is raised throughout the course of the first and second video games, the abilities of Heats demon form may also change to incorporate a wide variety of elemental attacks, supernatural physical skills, Hunt skills geared to instantly devouring those he incapacitates, and other various invulnerabilities aside from his natural resistance to fire. Of these skills, only the following will be available/remembered by him when he enters the city, and will remained sealed (ie: unavailable to him)until a time of the Mod's choosing:

Gate of Hell** -- Physical damage relative to user's current HP to all enemies. May cause stone. Venom Claw** -- Light physical damage to a single enemy. May cause poison. Fire of Sinai: Heavy almighty damage to random enemies. Agidyne -- Heavy fire damage to a single enemy. Auto Soma*** -- Fully restores user's HP and MP after battle.

  • I think, since heâs basically fought and killed demons, Gods, and monsters that would be considered fantastically overpowered by City terms -- fighting and killing something as powerful as the Biblical God ftw? -- the topmost cap of his power should be regulated to a bit higher than where it is in middle of the second game, where it takes something like four jet-planes and an omgwtf explosion to kill the weakest member of the entire party.
    • Indicate physical skills that physically damage Heat when used in combat. As in, hello advanced blood loss and such when he uses them.
      • Will be powered down to make it so that Heat will only fully-regenerate if and when he can escape danger for a full hour after a fight. Otherwise, Heat retains damage as normal and may still be killed.

AU: {Within S1!Universe} It's already stated above, but just to be clarifying: Heat will not be changing into his full Demonic form or using any of his awesomely supernatural abilities at anytime that the mods do not specify that he can. At the most, he can manage to transform an arm into a claw, but that's it.

[edit] History

After defeating the other tribes and climbing to the top of the Karma Temple, Heat and his comrades would ultimately witness the total deletion of the Junkyard (a simulation of life they are trapped in) and all their allies due to the destruction of the master program that held it all together. Heat and the others narrowly escaped the same fate by entering a mysterious light that was believed to lead to Nirvana, whereupon the game ends.
