Tarharath is not noted as a front line fighter. He chooses to engage his foes with psionic ranged attacks. However, when needed, he has mastered several close-combat psionic talents and will resort to using his quarterstaff.
Psionic Powers Known (27 power points; ML 5th): 1st – energy ray, entangling ectoplasm, hammer, inertial armor, mind thrust, stomp; 2nd – biofeedback, energy push, inflict pain, psionic tongues, swarm of crystals; 3rd – energy bolt
Psi-like abilities: 1/day – mindlink (ML 2nd).
Psicrystal: Tarharath's psicrystal has all of the following special abilities:
- Personality: Bully. Tarharath gains a +3 bonus on Intimidate checks.
- Deliver touch powers: Tarharath's psicrystal can deliver touch powers for him as long as it is in contact with him at the time he manifests the power. He must designate the psicrystal as the "toucher" for the power; the psicrystal can then deliver the touch power just as Tarharath could.
- Share Powers: At Tarharath's option, he can have any power (but not any psi-like ability) he manifests on himself also affect his psicrystal, as long as the psicrystal is within 5 feet of him at the time of manifestation. If the power has a duration other than Instantaneous, it stops affecting the psicrystal if it ever moves more than 5 feet away from Tarharath, and it will not resume affecting the psicrystal thereafter even if it moves back within 5 feet. Tarharath can manifest a power with a Target of "You" on his psicrystal (as a touch range power) rather than on himself. Powers that do not affect the psicrystal's type (construct) cannot be shared with it.
- Telepathic link: Tarharath has a telepathic link with his psicrystal out to a distance of 1 mile. He cannot see through the psicrystal's senses, but he can communicate with it as though using mindlink. Tarharath has the same connection to an item or place as his psicrystal does.
- Telepathic speech: Tarharath's psicrystal can communicate telepathically with any creature that has a language and is within 30 feet of the psicrystal, as long as the psicrystal is also within 1 mile of Tarharath.
See Tarharath's psicrystal for complete details.

Tarharath is a kalashtar psion from the nation of Adar, sent to Khorvaire (and now living in Sharn) just before his parents were assassinated by the cruel Inspired. Although he intends to return one day to take up his father's role in the resistance, Tar is first seeking to strengthen himself for that task. He now operates out of Sharn with a small band of adventurers, taking on missions that allow him to exercise his growing psionic abilities. |

Tarharath is a kalashtar psion from the nation of Adar. Both his parents were assassinated by the Inspired. Tar (as his few friends call him) was sent away to Sharn before the attack occurred. Needless to say, he is hunted by the Inspired for continuing his fathers view of direct and active resistance to the Inspired. He is also sought by some of the Adarian aristrocracy so he can resume his family's duties heading the militaristic wing within the nation. At this time, Tarharath feels he needs to increase his power and his influnce within Khorvaire before he feels confident enough to step into his father's role.
Little is known about Tarharath outside the fact of his almost immediate friendship with the warforged named Justice Blade. The two have hardly ever been apart since Tar's arrival at Sharn. Soon afterward they teamed up with Bru Le (human monk) and Hars (a rogue changling). This party of four had been hired by Lady Elaydren d'Vown, a noblewoman of House Cannith, to retrieve an artifact they wanted. They successfully found and retrieved the artifact from deep below the depths of Sharn.
Tarharath's party now numbers five, with the addition of the aasimar paladin Timoljin, and has been retained to seek the "traitor" Lucan (formerly of the Breland secret intelligence service, the Dark Lanterns), who is wanted for murder and theft of a certain powerful magical weapon. The chase has taken them far afield, from Sharn to Trolanport and north from there.
Tarharath has been noted to support his party with his psionic abililities. At first glance Tarharath is appealing to look at, like most kalashtar, but upon further review and contact most find him quite intimidating. Tar is beginning to come into his own with regard to his powers and is now a deadly opponent to face. Couple that with his view of the world and it won't be long before he feels confident enough to return to Adar. Tarharath is neutral in his view with a very slight lean towards the goodness of the world.
