Azgar Ankelm is a trained psychic warrior from the city of Dijishy, on the eastern slopes of the Elenon Mountains overlooking the Elos Desert. He is a stalwart, unyielding combatant and a dependable, faithful companion.

Azgar prefers to prepare for battle with force screen and offensive prescience before wading into melee. He combines the effects of the feats Speed of Thought, Sprint and Up the Walls with the power skate to be an effective speedster and mobility specialist in battle. Against tough foes, Azgar charges his deep crystal greataxe with psionic power to deliver massive damage on its next hit.
Psionic powers known (17 power points; ML 6th): 1st – biofeedback, force screen, offensive prescience, skate; 2nd – animal affinity, strength of my enemy.

Azgar wears a suit of spiked mithral plate armor, burnished and smoked to reduce shine and reflection. Under this, or when going unarmored, he favors shades of brown and tan highlighted with deep blue or indigo. Azgar bears a powerful weapon, a greataxe with a cobalt head of deep crystal and a mithral-wrapped hilt of solid hardwood. The axe's crystal head is embedded with psionic matrices that enhance its power in battle. When traveling, he usually carries a crossbow on his shoulder, a backpack carefully arranged around his armor spikes, and a belt pouch containing coin and a few easily-accessed potions.
Azgar's head is shaven down to the top of his ears, and the scalp is decorated with tattoos, some of which course with powerful psionic energies. More tattoos decorate the backs of his hands and his shoulders and biceps, though these are usually hidden under his armor. Azgar's beard, which hangs nearly to his waist, is rich chestnut in color and is usually arranged into knotwork braids.
