Recruiting Standards: Any and all melee units who wish to spread their fighting style and learn others'. No class is off-limits save those that use magic, which is prohibited within the Martial Syndicate.

[edit] Syndicate Description
Just as there has been a Holy Order established to bring together all of the religions of Maris, so has the Martial Syndicate stood as a bastion of protection from the magical arts, a hotspot of cold steel where true fighters from all over Maris could congregate and join all of the martial styles of combat from all over the continent. The Martial Syndicate is neutrally balanced, being neither evil nor good nor favoring one nation over the other, instead accepting any who scorn magic and devote themselves to their weapons. Its men and leadership hardly ever engage in actual warfare, instead using their skills to teach others their arts within the Syndicate, though they will fight and kill when provoked. The organization gained the name "syndicate" because of the intense brotherhood of its members.
The Martial Syndicate more or less stands as a polar opposite of the Conclave of Magic, a negative clone.
The Martial Syndicate's headquarters is a vast dojo environment, as is the manner in which they practice and learn.

The Colaen heads the entire Syndicate. He is looked to as the teacher and de facto "father" of the Syndicate, even though the current one is relatively young. The Fargil working under him are his lieutenants, handling a great deal of his matters and serving as his seconds-in-command and good friends. The four Novir oversee the activities of the Syndicate, and are quite highly regarded throughout. The eight Gatheli oversee respective areas of the Martial Syndicate, and Bolens are regular members, though some Bolens are more highly regarded than others—a mini-hierarchy.
