Meredur is tall and lean, but well muscled. He wears his black hair long, and in a ponytail. His bangs usually hang out, and over his eyes. He has a long scar on his left arm from a sword blow. Meredur is right handed. He normally wears loose black trousers, a blue short-sleeved black tunic, and a black, short, hooded cloak. During battle, he wears leather armor. On his left arm he wears a leather bracer, but on his right hand, he wears a clothe glove that has the tips of the fingers cut off.
Meredur is very kind, and giving. He never drinks, because of his parents. Meredur abides the law, and hates when justice is not served. On, and off, the battle field, he is intelligent, quick-thinking and logical. He thinks tactically, and strives to keep the casualty lists as short as possible.

Meredur grew up in a small hut outside of Dessau. His parents used the small amounts of money they earned to purchase alcohol, and were almost always drunk. They couldn’t care for him, and often times, they would abuse him verbally. He sought refuge with other families, who provided him with food and care until he was able to forage, fish and hunt for himself.
Eventually, disgusted with his situation, he left, and went to the city, where he enlisted as a cavalier at the age of eighteen. He received some of the best training, and revealed his skill with sword, lance and eventually, his prowess with the bow, after choosing to become a Hussar.
He graduated from his training seven years later, and slowly worked his way up the ranks until he was rewarded with the position of Captain.
