The spitting image of his father, Julius towers over his countrymen, and possesses neck-length black hair that shines in the light but does not flow wildly about his head. Instead, his hair is neat and tidy, even when he removes his magnificent war helmet that bears a chrest holder in the shape of a phoenix, its tailfeathers being a crest of purple plumes. His skin is the Endalian olive and his features are incredibly prominent, including a hooked nose and medium lips. He is, like his father, a man of great stature, towering over his countrymen at a massive height of 6'1", only a foot less than his father. The Emperor possesses a fine physique; he is slightly thin but muscular. He possesses rich green eyes that can relay a calm, intelligent ruler or a fierce conqueror.
His battle armor is extravagant. Clasped over two pauldrons of a regal violet is a reddish-purple flowing cape lined with shining golden trim. It is held together in the front with a golden clasp, upon which is a red ruby to match those on the hilt of Arthur. The pauldrons are held up by a gorget, it being the same dark shade of purple than the pauldrons. He wears matching vambraces, rembraces and couters. His gauntlets are an example of Endalian finery; they are lined with gold on the caps and fit comfortable on his hands. His tassets hang from a magnifence breastplate that has a golden phoenix on the front with a ruby eye.
Completing his outfit are his cuisses, and his boots. A long, flowing tunic extends to his lower thighs; it is made of leather and surprising comfortable and protective of the emperor. He carries a magnificent shield to complete his imperial attire - upon it is the standard Endalian symbol of the phoenix as seen on all soldiers' shields but more magnificent and detailed, the emblem being of pure gold. Outside of the battlefield the Emperor is still a fine vision of power and grace. A dark violet tunic held together at the waste by a belt, buttoning up with golden buttons is common wear for him with a long cape covering it and purple pants tucked in black leather boots. In his hand he holds a scepter with a golden phoenix wrapped around it.

A shrewd, brilliant and astute politician, Julius is suited for his position as Emperor of the Endal Empire and takes after his father Aurieus. He is a warrior and a leader and is kind and cares about his people, but can be firm and sometimes ruthless when he needs to be. In battle, he is a brilliant and daring general with a love for the thrill of battle and a passion for extending the borders of his mighty empire. Julius is friendly and courteous to his allies and ruthless and cruel to his enemies. Julius will do anything it takes to stop them, but is no fool. If the chances look too slim or the move seems too foolish, Julius will pull out and try another method. In the court, he treats his subordinates with the respect they deserve, though he commands their respect.

The Sword of the Emperor, Arthur was originally wielded by Gaius Marus Cassius during The Sundering and afterwards. It was given to his son, Aurieus Cyrus Darius, who began the Endal Empire by conquering Proxenia and Elkerta. It has been handed down from Emperor to Emperor since then, always marking the rightful ruler of Endal.
Arthur has a golden hilt with a large ruby as the pommel, with another two rubies set into the guard. The guard appears as a phoenix in flight, with the tail flowing into the handle and the head set onto the blade. The blade is red hot, as if it had just come out of the forge, and it sears the flesh where it strikes, instantly cauterizing the wound. Arthur also enhances the defenses of the wielder, both physical and magical, in the efforts to keep the Emperor alive. The final ability of the Blade of Emperors is to hurl blasts of fire at a word from the commander. These blasts can reach twenty feet in size, although the wielder controls the overall size. They are intensely powerful bursts of flame that stun more often than burn, although they do both quite well.
