Latin teacher Larry Rice is distinguished for his sponsorship of the The Simpsons ULTIMATE Fan Club.

Despite the club's rowdy members and repeatedly losing money on pizza for which few members paid for, Mr. Rice still showed enthusiastic support for the club, as evidenced by a convocation announcement for a Friday meeting: "The Simpsons club, which I believe is the only club which addresses the most important and relevant issues of our time, is meeting this Friday".
