Team Sodor is a series of stories and cartoons written by Truro. The series follows Truro's human versions of the Steam Team, personified as the Secret Railway Police. (A cross between MI6 and Brittish Transport Police).
The Missing A1
Originally inspiered by Red Dwarf, and several other situation comedies, Truro began the series with the story 'Team Sodor and the MIssing A1' in which Locomotive number 4 (The Locomotive of Gordon) has been stolen, and Team Sodor set out to find it.
The Cartoon series
Based upon the narrated storyboard of the lost episode of season 7 of Red Dwarf, the idea came to Truro to try somthing similar. Starting with a simple plot of catching a thief, Team Sodor became a hit, and a total of four episodes have currently been released. Currently, a fith episode is being worked on, but progress is currently on hold, while Truro works on a NEW human Thomas series. None the less, once the new series is set in motion episode 5, will resume production.
Trivia
- In true Red Dwarf style, Truro gives Thomas and Henry voices that sound like Lister and Rimmer respectively, from Red Dwarf.
- There's a slight goof, with Mavis' voice in episode 3. Truro uses his normal Lancashire accent, with a higher pitch, for Mavis' voice, but since she's Toby's little sister, she should really have a cockney accent, like Toby.
- From episode 2 onwards, the Fat Controller becomes a more aggressive character, remisent of many a police chief of the small and silver screens. His new personality (and voice) are based upon Bernard Breslaw's character in Carry On Dick.
- Most of the photographs used for backgrounds, are taken in Lancashire.
- Episode 5 (When finally complete) will feature Christopher as a guest narrator. This will be the first Team Sodor episode that isn't narrated by Truro.
