Isle of Norspa

It is of course based in concept at least around Sodor.
History
- 45 AD: Romans sight the island and location is recorded.
- 47 AD: Romans land on beach at what is now Treathmor.
- 48 AD: Year of bad luck and lack of supplies forces roman invaders to abandon island.
- 901 AD: Norse invaders bipassed England and landed in Norspa at several points along the coast.
- 910 AD: Tribal wars started between various settlements for overall control.
- 950 AD: 40-year war ends without any winners. Tribal leaders sign a treaty.
- 960 AD: Some tribes decided to return to their homeland.
- 965 AD: Cornish fishermen wander off course and encounter island.
- 970 AD: Cornish merchants sail across stretch of water and land on beach near Chyteylu.
- 990 AD: Several cornish settlements have sprung up across the island.
- 995 AD: Cornish encounter remaining Norse tribes. The Norse surrender their control.
- 1000 AD: Cornwall claim the island and name it 'Norspa' in honour of the Norse tribes.
- 1005 AD: Norse tribes are now fully integrated.
- 1010 AD: Cornwall declares Norspa to be an independent territory
- 1066 AD: Cornwall becomes part of England.
- 1070 AD: Norspa becomes annexed to the Kingdom of England.
Settlements
- Mickmouth - busy dock located at mouth of River Mick.
- Treathmor - Cornish name for beach by the sea (as opposed to on a lake).
- Pennkalgh - joke name in Cornish
- Penforth - Cornish name for headland road
- Alsgoon - Cornish name for meadow on cliff
- the municipality of 'Bosnance' - Cornish name for dwelling in the valley
- Alsforth - Cornish name for cliff road
- Carregkelly - Cornish name for rocky grove
- St. Michael - smallish village at the top of a mountain, named after the ancient chapel
- Finchbury - so named due to the families of finches that used to live there
- Ruthker - Cornish name for red fort
- Ruthlys - Cornish name for red court
- Bostowan - Cornish name for dwelling on a sandhill
- Trecos - Cornish name for farm by a wood
- Morbramm - Cornish name for fart of the sea, named becuase of the trapped winds around that part of coast
