Diesel Express

Gordon hears rumours that a diesel is taking over the Express. Distracted, he crashes through the back wall of the shed.

Out of Date

Gordon's tender is repaired and he goes back to work. Bear announces that he is visiting the Other Railway. Rumours spread, and soon steam engines and diesels are at war. BoCo and Edward decide to resolve the matter, and BoCo explains that it's not just steam engines that can be scrapped.

Bad Parking

Gordon takes the Midnight Goods. A car is to be loaded, but due to careless parking it rolls away and crashes on to the line in front of Gordon. The train is held up.

Thoroughly Modern Railway

Bear becomes a celebrity on the West Coast Main Line. He returns to Sodor and nearly runs into a fallen tree. He arrives back, and the Fat Controller announces that he is buying Pip and Emma.
