Coughs and Sneezles

Heavy rain causes floods in the China Clay mines as well as a bad case of the flu. Ben develops a stuffy smokebox (Or a “sneezle”) and when his solution to clear it out causes the workmen to become covered in ashes!

Deep Submerge

With the Clay Mines closed until they’re emptied, Bill and Ben are sent to help Percy at New Ffarquhar. Bill laughs when Ben has a mishap with a water tower, but isn’t laughing for long when he gets a proper soaking at the harbour!

Stowaway

Percy is delighted to make his first Main Line Run with the Mail Train. Bill and Ben tease him about Stowaways that might jump aboard his train…and Percy gets a surprise when his “stowaway” turns out to be an excitable dog!

Suspension Manoeuvre

Bill and Ben are finally allowed to come home, but have to deliver a long line of ballast wagons to the scrapyard. When one of the trucks looses its wheels at the level crossing, Dennis the diesel roller arrives in time to help, and with the twins’ cooperation they get their job done.
