Thomas Cracks the Case

There are a few mysterious thefts about Ffarquhar Station and town, and everyone is wondering who the robber is. But when Thomas feels a stolen piece of jewellery fall onto his boiler, he realises that it's a magpie that's stealing the items. The nest is found and the stolen items are returned, and everyone is happy just to have their things back.

Oh, Mr. Station Master!

A retired school teacher takes up the job of the Station Master as New Ffarquhar, but is constantly left with boredom in between jobs. But one day he gets a shock, when cattle break out of a paddock and roam on the line with an approaching Thomas, and him, Thomas' crew, and an old man help return the cattle into the field. After this, the Station Master is content to be with the job he is.

For Peat's Sake

Toby is annoyed and grumpy when he is to haul trucks of Peat for deliveries to villages on Sodor. But Toby soon learns to appreciate it, when he finds himself in trouble and his crew decide to burn Peat to keep Toby running.

A Pub with no Beer

The Fellgood Brewery delivers beer to two pubs on Thomas' Branch Line, but one day the delivery lorry has an accident and the pubs are suffering. Then Thomas has an idea for them to sell his Driver's, the Vicar's and the Station Master's home brewed drinks to find for the lorry's repair. The notion is a success, and Thomas is rewarded for having his Driver's brew named after him and sold publicly.
