Cranky 4565 is one of the many members of Sodor Island Forums, and was part of the past Hyperboards forum as well. Cranky discovered the Internet Thomas community from Tv Tome, but was sadly changed to Tv.com later on. Cranky found Clearwater Forums and decided to join due to the fact he loves Thomas and Tugs. There he created his first few fics, including the Thomas and Tugs crossover series which proved popular. Cranky continued to write fictions of various Thomas stories and ideas. One which proved popular to some friends on other forums was "Orgins", which has yet to be posted on SiF. Orgins is based on the construction of the characters we know and love, and add that cool feeling towards who else could be involved in the construction of a certain character. Cranky began to meet some of the friends he has today, such as Jaquin/Big Mac, The Halford, Banchoufox/Festfox, and various others.
Cranky began to go further into the Thomas community, and joined Krypto's Thomas forums, where he met members such as Jake and Old Iron. When Krypto's was changed to Engine Shed Forums, Cranky received an invite from Ryan, who he barley talked too. Ryan was kind enough to let Cranky have an SiF account, and He and Ryan became good friends. Cranky became as invovled as he could on SiF, and met members such as GOTsteam, Stepneydude, and a handful of others. When SiF was gone, Cranky was sad, but got note from Ryan via MSN that he has made a new SiF. Cranky now is an active member of the new community, and has posted various fanfics, most of which are posted on other forums. These include: "Reboot: Final War", "Mutants", "A Puppets Tale", and "Survivor". Cranky has also written a 48 page story on 6 Thomas seasons he created, by mixing various stories from the comics, Railway series, and fan fics from other members. Cranky has also written "End of Sodor", which is almost completed. Cranky plans on staying with the SiF community for years to come.

Cranky has done dozens of his own stories which he seems keen on posting in several forums. Popular titles include:
- Reboot Final Wars: A Reboot Sequel which was made in an attempt to celar up the series cliffhanger ending

- SPD: Doomsday: Taking SPD and putting them in a world were monsters rule and street gangs litter the streets
- Ninja's Story: The story of a warrior who loses, then gains everything - Ventriloquist: A Horror Story written about a Beautiful Ventriloquist - A Teenager's Journey: Based on a Dream of Cranky's - Transformers: Genocide: TF Fic about a key moment in the TF History - Transformers: Invasion: Sequel to previous story, showcasing the Rise of Unicron - Star Wars Rebirth: 6 Part Story which takes Star Wars to a new direction.
Cranky also has written nearl 20 of his own volumes of the ERS, which haven't been shown or showcased. Cranky hopes that he will one day submit his work, when all has been said and done. Cranky has also written Episodes and Seasons of Thomas which he dervived from various insperation on the forum.

Cranky4565 in real life is Jock Martin, who derives from Scotland and Britan. Jock was born in Scotland, moved to Britain, then to Canada. Jock is a 12th year, and cannot wait until he graduates. Heres some more info:
