Power Rangers: Pencil force is an SiFiction written by Truro. Parodying the long running Power Rangers saga, Pencil Force follows five lesser known SiF members fighting badly thought up monsters created by 'The Master' in the fictional city of Shining Hills. There is a secret guarded at the city's art gallery, that the master is desperate to get his claws on, and its down to the Rangers to stop him, and while they're at it, perhaps find out what that secret is. Power Rangers Pencil Force has recieved high praise from many SiF members. It is the first SiFiction to make people other than the cast of Quest for the missing Christmas Presents the main focus, making the characters fresh and original. Its use of fast paced action, and occasional fourth wall style of humour have made it an instant hit.

Rangers
Truro (Red Ranger) - Portrayed as snobbish, big headed, and slightly eccentric. Has a nasty temper, and curses a lot. Deep down (REALLY deep down) he does care for his team mates, and is determined to prove himself a leader in their eyes. He enjoys fencing, in real life, and this was played on in the stories, via his weapon; the Shining Foil.
Dan the countdowner (Blue Ranger)- The groups' Joker. Loyal. His weapon is the Sonic Screwdriver. He was the first ranger to use the sword of light. His finisher being 'Final Countdown'.
Chris Burrell (Green Ranger)- The Cool guy
GotSTEAM (Yellow Ranger)- Daydreams. Scared of large crowds, but okay in small groups
RustyFanatic05 (Pink Ranger)- Kind hearted, flirtatious and likes singing.
Sixth Ranger- The Mysterious new hero, who we've yet to introduce!
Baddies
- The Master- A dragon man with a nasty temper and slightly immature disposition.
- Kitsune IV- A Fox Man. He is a great ninja and a master thief.
- Pervy- A perverted little internet stalker.
Zords
- Jubilee Zord (Red)- A Steam Engine zord based on the Jubilee class locomotive 'Leander'. Its attack, 'Furnace Blast' is a flame thrower concealed in the turret like funnel. The zord's other attack 'Destruction Fire' Sucks the monster through the smoke box, into the firebox and burns them to ashes. Also forms the arms of the Megazord
- Tardis Zord (Blue)- Based upon the Dr Who Tardis. This hovering phone booth generates electrical sparks from the aerial on its roof, and blasts monsters with it. Forms the Legs and groin area of the Megazord.
- Gamecube Zord (Green)- A lime green version of the Nintendo gamecube. Can hover, and fire green laser disks. Forms the Megazord's Torso section
- Midlander Zord (Pink) This White and Pink Diesel zord is based on the Tayllylln railways Midlander diesel, which was written into the railway Series as Rusty. Its attack 'Pink Shine Laser' is a phased beam of powerful pink light. Becomes the head of the Megazord
- Sparrow Zord (Yellow)- What you might call, a smaller and less powerful version of the Original White Ranger's Falcon Zord. Has the missile based weapons for its attack 'Sparrow Storm'. Joins with the megazord as the Wings and rocket pack.
Influences
- The idea first came over MSN conversations between Truro, Chris Burrell, and Rustyfanatic05. On deviantart, someone kept slagging SiF off, because he had been banned, for his immaturity, and all his friends gave him sympathy, also slagging us off. Truro decided that if he did it again, then they should comment on his DA journal, exposing the REAL reason he was banned, and give him a right verbal thrashing. "And we'll call ourselves, Fan Art Rangers!" said Truro in jest, but also mulling the idea over in his head, "This could be the basis for a good SiFiction!" Assigning Carly as Pink Ranger, and Chris as Green, Truro went on to recruit a blue ranger and yellow ranger, and then got to work on what he hoped would be a successful comedy romp.
- Most of the 'episodes' in the Pencil force series are based on events that have taken place on SiF in the past. Chapter 3 for example is based on all the hype about a certain member planning to take over the Thomas franchise and turn it into an anime.
- Despite rumours of who Kitsune IV is supposed to be, he's not really based on anyone from SiF. For his role, I needed to create a character who could be a master thief. The idea actually stems from the anime character Lupin III.
- The Jubilee Zord takes a bit of heed from Mystic Force's Solar Streak Megazord. It uses both forms of Furnace blast, but with different names. Destruction fire was the name of both attacks in the Japanese version 'Mahou Sentai Magiranger'
