Pre-Deluge history and biography
Born in a quaint little town in Alaska, called Sitka. She led a fairly normal life until she turned 18, and went backpacking across China. There, she met a rather intriguing man, by the name of Xiao. They were instantly attracted to each other, and spent the next few months being together. However, Xiao had a dark secret. He was a were-tiger. And he wanted someone to spend the rest of his life with that was exactly like him. So, one night, he bit her. Unfortunately for him, he forgot one thing. On her first transformation, she was out of control, and even though he was stronger than her, her extreme viciousness and tenacity gave her the edge in combat, and she killed him.
After coming to, she had realized what she had done, and ran. After cleaning up in a stream, she made her way to the airport, and traveled back home. She put the past behind her, and went back to school, training to become a mechanic. After school, she went to work for an airline. Unfortunately, she couldn’t settle, and quit after a couple of months. She then worked as an auto mechanic, a boat technician, a TV repair woman, a cable repair woman, and an x-ray tech. She had issues with staying in one place, and had wandering feet.
Post-Deluge events
Then, the Deluge hit, and all went to hell. Luckily, she had been on a camping trip, and was exploring a cave formation when it hit. She didn’t even notice until she got back to the civilized world. When she got back, however, she noticed that something was wrong. It wasn’t only that there were riots, but that people were gone, or dying from what appeared to be a very, dreadfully hostile, aggressive disease that the media had dubbed “Fates Handmaiden”. She became a runner then, helping those who she could. However, there were just too many.
Now she is trying to find other people, but when it all comes down to it, it herself first, and foremost. However, if she were to meet anyone, she would be viciously protective of them. She has become a very good hunter/gatherer, and has beaten, or survived against what ever has tried to hurt, or kill her. She has a few scars, mainly a large set of slash marks across her lower back. She’s lost her most of her trust in people, especially men, but doesn’t carry any grudges against anyone, seeing it as a waste of time to do so, since there are so few people left.
