The Bloomsbury School (College of Bloomsbury)

Overseen by Lord Randall Channing and run by his worthy retainer Gerard Hostewick, along with perhaps 3 or 4 Heads of School, The Bloomsbury School (Established 1720) is based in Bloomsbury, London, England, and provides the First and occassionally the Second Estate with experty prepared and trained retainers. A fairly recent addition to the program is a Marathon-approved series of training packages to provide courier and messenger skills either as seperate courses or as a package. These supplimentary courses are provided by Marathon approved and provided specialist tutors at what is sometimes referred to as the College of Bloomsbury.

Speciality areas include : Arts Caretakers, Librarians, Butlers and Maids and Security Staff as well as suitable Accountants and book keepers for Kindred needs.

Retainers from the College of Bloomsbury are rated at either 4 or 5 and have a wide skill base suited for employment within the First Estate. In addition to the speciality areas of the School a retainer trained for Marathon activities will be able to drive and have an understanding of the legalities and practicalities of couriering and carrying goods across national borders. Mechanically those retainers hired to with Marathon training will have some skills (at least 2 and as many as 4/5) from athletics, brawl, computer, craft, driving, expression, larceny, persuasion, socialise, stealth, streetwise, survival. Specialisations in these skills are also taught, especially drive (various), stealth (tailing/by vehicle) and survival (navigation).

Notes : There is the potential for characters to have purchased ready trained high quality retainers (lvl 4/5) with Channing in the past, or at least may know of him as a good source of ready trained servants.
