The Labyrinth Entrance

You find yourself in a cramped brick room, lit by mysterious glass-covered slits in the walls. The slits emit a dull yellow light with no obvious source. Someone has carved a message in to the wall: "Can you find the secret?"
There are also three wooden doors. One to the East, South and West.
What to do now?
It doesn't seem safe down here.
Or take the East, South or West doors.
This 'secret' sounds interesting...
