The Laboratory

You enter the Laboratory. Your first impression is of some sort of museum, filled with scientific items on shelves that stretch far into the black depths of the massive, low-ceiling room. It must have been some sort of dungeon in times past, there is a clean and organized feel to the whole place, and at the same time the feeling of it being immensely old. Jars filled with liquids of all hues are arranged by color and size. Indistinct creatures float in vats that line the wall. You can see such a plethora of items in the surrounding area, it would take days to sort through it all. You see a pair of stone pillars supporting the low-ceiling anchor the center aisle disappearing into the dimness ahead. The depths of the room seem to draw you in, wanting you to explore all that it has to offer with its seemingly endless shelves.
The center aisle continues off into the depths of the room, beckoning you into the dim twilight, flanked by the stone pillars. A row of racks stretch off to the right, and the tall shelving holding the multi-colored jars stretches off to left, creating an eerie tunnel of morbid decor.
You can hear movement from beyond the racking to your right, but you cannot identify it.
