Direktor
Direktor Boris Berovski of the Thalassocratic Oligarchy of Prevania, Minister for Procrastination, Protector of the Nation, High Admiral of the Combined Fleets, Grand Marshal of the Army, Victor of the Seventh Prevanian Air War, etc is the head of state of Prevania. The post of Direktor is lifelong and held until death. Upon death, the new Direktor is chosen from amongst high party officials by a popular vote.
Parliament
The Prevanian Parliament is situated in the capital city (Prevoygrad). It is comprised of 400 MPs, chosen by proportional representation in a general election every 3 years. They can vote on anything.
However, on matters of defence and the constitution, the Direktor has the final say and he has a veto which can be used unless there is a 75% majority.
The Prevanian Cabinet
All Sectretaries of State are members of the Cabinet. The Cabinet cannot make any decisions; it exists to advise and influence the Direktor.
Voting Rights
At the age of 18, all Prevanians must, by law, take a standardised IQ test, the PNIT (Prevanian National Intelligence Test). Only those who score above 100 (the 'average' score) are permitted to vote. Furthermore, you need an IQ over 110 for some jobs, including politicians and military officers. Prevania has adopted this system to make sure that the less intelligent are not able to do what is considered beyond their capability to do. There is much opposition to this, but it is strongly supported by the government and the military.

Geologists say that Prevania was formed about 200 million years ago by a 'super-volcano' that erupted extremely violently. This volcano is now extinct but has left behind four large islands in a circular shape. These islands originally had russian nams but, during the communist regime, they were changed to Alpha (north), Beta (west), Gamma (south) and Delta (east).

Economy
The Prevanian economy is centred around airship manufacturing and IT. Prevania only started to industrialise in 1930. However, these advances were wiped out in the 1950s and 1960s by the First Novan War and the democratic revolution. The nation started to rebuild its economy in the 1970s. Luckily, the oligarchic revolution, although it devastated the army, left the economy relitivly untouched. The aerospace companies branched into airship building in the 1980s at the command of Direktor Boris Berenovski, and this now accounts for a large portion of the Prevanian economy.

Armed Forces
The Prevanian armed forces contain five sections:
- The Prevanian Army – The army is so small for such a large nation as not only is Prevania an island so its leadership vests its defence in other sections but the army was also decimated by the Prevanian Revolutionary Air Fleet during the Oligarchic revolution lead by Air Admiral Boris Berenovski. It consists of about 200,000 personnel, of which half are support, and 500 armoured vehicles (100 T-95s, 200 Boxer MRAVs).
- The Prevanian Air Marines - The Air Marinies are the main Prevanian infantry organisation. It was founded in 1985 by Direktor Boris Berenovski afteer he smashed the Prevanian Army. There are 1 million men in 100 battalions, 20 of which are logistics.
- The Prevanian Air Force – The air force is of a reasonable size and many of the aircraft are sourced from Russia. There are 30 MiG 35 fighter squadrons, 20 Su 34 ground-attack squadrons, 15 Tu-160 bomber squadrons and one experimental relativity drive unit (each squadron contains 10 aircraft). The air force also has a helicopter force of 20 Mi-28 Havocs and 50 Mil Mi-26s.
- The Prevanian Navy – As Prevania is on an island, the navy is a priority. It contains 500 ships, including 3 V/STOL Comrade Class carriers (HDS Trotsky, HDS Lenin and HDS Stalin), 9 cruisers, 81 destroyers and 3 nuclear submarines. With the exception of the Submarine HDS Resolute, all the ships have been made in Prevania.
- The Prevanian Air Fleet – Prevania is unique in that it is one of only a scant few countries that have a military arm dedicated to rigid airships. Prevanian Aerospace and the German-speaking Pacific Zepplins conglomerate are the main suppliers for the fleet. It comprises of some 144 rigid airships which are mainly used for attack, reconnaissance, command and transport. The 85 attack airships are divided up into four air groups, each lead by one of the four immense 800m Admiral Class missile aero-cruisers:

- Air Group Delta (HDAS Holtzendorff)

- Nations whose citizens only require a passport to enter - they may stay for up to a six months.
- Citizens are easily able to apply for citizenship, though asylum-seekers are looked on with suspicion.
- Nations are able to trade with Prevania subject to certain regulations.
- Nations that Prevania will probably help in many circumstances.

- Nations are able to trade with Prevania subject to medium regulations and light tariffs.
- Nations that Prevania may help if it is deemed in Prevania's intrest to do so.
All countries not in any other categories.
Status 4
- Nations that Prevania is unsure of.
- Nations unable to buy Prevanian military airships.
- Nations unable to buy certain Prevanian products.
- Citizens of these countries require a passport, preliminary interview, VISA and medical certificate to enter - they may stay for up to two weeks.
- Citizens are easily able to apply for asylum, though it is more difficult for them to gain Prevanian citizenship.
- Nations are able to trade with Prevania subject to stringent regulations and medium tariffs.
Status 5
- Nations that are deeply distrusted and hated by Prevania.
- Nations unable to buy any Prevanian products.
- Citizens are generally unable to come to Prevania.
- Asylum-seekers are welcomed with open arms.
- Nations are able to trade with Prevania subject to harsh regulations, punitif tariffs and Direktoral approval.
