Introduction

The Prevanian Air Fleet is the main military wing of the Prevanian Armed Forces. Founded by Direktor Boris Benenovski in 1985, it is now one of the most potent Air Fleets in the world.

Airship Designations

Capital Airships

• Aero-Battleships

A recent class, aero-battleships are used for intimidation, bombardment and as command bases.

• Air Aircraft Carriers

Air Aircraft Carriers are used for taking conventional aircraft.

• Aero-Cruisers

Traditionaly, they were used for attacking other airships, but nowadays, aero-cruisers are primarily used for ground bombardment and command.

Escort Airships

• Air Destroyers

These are used for protecting the fleet from threats. As such, they are used for protecting against aircraft, ships and submarines. They are reasonably inderpentant and can provide convoy duties.

• Aero-Frigates

Aero-frigates are used for long range anti-air protection. They are often used for conoy protection, but are also involved in fleet exercises where they use their missiles to disable enemy airships.

Air Fleet Auxillaries

• Fleet Aero-Tankers

These are highly protected and carry repacement reactors and spare hydrogen and helium.

• Fleet Replenishment Airships

These carry all supplies for airships and resupply them, increasing their opperational range.

• Fleet Ammunition Airships

These carry spare ammunition for other airships.
