The Thalassocratic Oligarchy of Prevania is a meduim-sized multi-lingual country currently ruled by Direktor Boris Berenovski

Government

List of Prevanian Government Ministries

Direktor Boris Berovski of the Thalassocratic Oligarchy of Prevania, Minister for Procrastination, Protector of the Nation, High Admiral of the Combined Fleets, Grand Marshal of the Army, Victor of the Seventh Prevanian Air War, etc is the head of state of Prevania. The post of Direktor is lifelong and held until death. Upon death, the new Direktor is chosen from amongst high party officials by a popular vote.

Industry

The Prevanian economy is centred around airship manufacturing and IT. Prevania only started to industrialise in 1930. However, these advances were wiped out in the 1950s and 1960s by the First Novan War and the democratic revolution. The nation started to rebuild its economy in the 1970s. Luckily, the oligarchic revolution, although it devastated the army, left the economy relitivly untouched. The aerospace companies branched into airship building in the 1980s at the command of Direktor Boris Berenovski, and this now accounts for a large portion of the Prevanian economy.

Military

The Prevanian armed forces contain five sections:

1. The Prevanian Army – The army is so small for such a large nation as not only is Prevania an island so its leadership vests its defence in other sections but the army was also decimated by the Prevanian Revolutionary Air Fleet during the Oligarchic revolution lead by Air Admiral Boris Berenovski. It consists of about 200,000 personnel, of which half are support, and 500 armoured vehicles (100 T-95s, 200 Boxer MRAVs).
2. The Prevanian Air Marines - The Air Marinies are the main Prevanian infantry organisation. It was founded in 1985 by Direktor Boris Berenovski afteer he smashed the Prevanian Army. There are 1 million men in 100 battalions, 20 of which are logistics.
3. The Prevanian Air Force – The air force is of a reasonable size and many of the aircraft are sourced from Russia. There are 30 MiG 35 fighter squadrons, 20 Su 34 ground-attack squadrons, 15 Tu-160 bomber squadrons and one experimental relativity drive unit (each squadron contains 10 aircraft). The air force also has a helicopter force of 20 Mi-28 Havocs and
4. The Prevanian Navy – As Prevania is on an island, the navy is a priority. It contains 500 ships, including 3 V/STOL Comrade Class carriers (DS Trotsky, DS Lenin and DS Stalin), 9 cruisers, 81 destroyers and 3 nuclear submarines. With the exception of the Submarine DS Resolute, all the ships have been made in Prevania.
5. The Prevanian Air Fleet – Prevania is unique in that it is the only known country to have a military arm dedicated to rigid airships. Prevanian Vertical-Lift Technologies Ltd. and the German-speaking Prevania Aerospace Industries conglomerate are the main suppliers for the fleet. It comprises of some 144 rigid airships which are mainly used for attack, reconnaissance, command and transport. The 85 attack airships are divided up into four air groups, each lead by one of the four immense 800m Admiral Class missile cruisers:
