Ventures are market oriented fundraisers that cater the needs of college students.

During the academic year, students (NI members) implement various fundraising activities, which are called “Ventures” to differentiate them from traditional fundraisers. Ventures cater to the student market, meaning they provide a good or service that other students are willing to purchase for the inherent value of the good or service. Examples of ventures include swing dances, poker tournaments, and lunch sales.

An Event Venture is a large venture that is held on one day annually or semi-annually. Event ventures contrast with weekly ventures such as Hunger Lunch.
