If you want to be really hot shit, you can increase the booziness of your beverage through either freeze or vapor distillation.

Of the two, freeze distillation requires less specialist equipment, but it also makes less pure and limited strength alcohol. Vapor requires you to have some sort of condenser/collector arrangement and you can make pure ethanol if you're not careful (which will kill you)

To freeze distil:

1. Put the booze to be distilled in a large container.

2. Put it somewhere to freeze (the freezer, outside, anywhere below 0 C).

3. When chunks of ice start to form, take them out.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until ice stops forming.

5. Enjoy your hooch.

When water freezes, it goes from being a random-ass jumble of H2O to a highly ordered crystalline structure. Alcohol, being a huge-ass organic molecule, doesn't exactly fit into this structure - hence, it's excluded from the crystals. The ice that forms is nearly pure H2O, and removing it is only taking water out of the hooch.

1. Put the booze in the container

2. Attach the condenser/collector. This can be as simple as a cold, smooth surface on an angle (mirror) and a bucket, or as complex as a refrigerated glass tube and rubber hosing. The important thing is it gets the now evaporated alcohol below its boiling point and you catch the drips.

3. You can repeat this, but it won't make a huge difference to the strength or purity of your moonshine.
