Defense Councillor Aln was a high-ranking member of the Torrential Council. His duties included control of Torrent's military, defense of the city, the protection of other Council members, and, as with the entire Council during the Treaties, overseeing of private hearings. It was during one of these hearings, between representatives of Orecrest, Moeris, Sharnea, and another Torrential noble, that Aln was murdered alongside his countryman, and their deaths pinned on the Sharnean Ravenok Doreylin and the Moerisian Fallanon Shemanciar.
