Head out of the castle

Just out front of the castle, the little township that sits along the cobblestone path from your keep rolls out in front of you, smoke rising from the chimneys as the people get on with their day. You take in a deep breath through your noise, enjoying the mix of smells: firewood burning, pies baking, pigs being roasted, even horse shit along the roadway. All of that and freedom, as well.

You feel terrific to be free of the stifling walls of the castle, and put your hands on your hips to take in your surrounding for a moment. You hear the cloppity-clop of a horses hooves coming towards you, and turn to see Jesohef the Stable Master leading your prized steed in your direction.
