Best sighting was of a probable Serotine or Leisler's Bat hawking along one of the ditches at 1230! Description sent in to local recorder... - Walthamstow Res: 2 Little Egrets & 10 Common Sandpipers on Lockwood, 3 L.Whitethroats in near by scrub (J. Murray & C. Freddi); also ad Peregrine over Banbury Res, pm (David Callahan).
- Rainham Marshes RSPB: juvenile Marsh Harrier (Birdguides).
- Brent Reservoir: Oystercatcher flew over calling at 06.09 (Andrew Self).
- St James's Park: 5 Egyptian Geese (not part of collection) at lunchtime (Andrew Self).
- South Norwood Lake: 2 Mute Swan, 2 Cormorant, 8 Tufted Duck, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 5 Green Woodpecker (2 juv), 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff, 15+Long-tailed Tit, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Greenfinch, 6 Goldfinch, 2 Ring-necked Parakeet, 1 Nuthatch, 20 Swift, 6 House Martin, 50+ Starling (on playing fields), 6 House Sparrow (John Watson).
- Wood Green (Clarendon Road): Common Tern over at 13.15hrs (Des McKenzie).
- East India Dock Basin NR: 2 LRP, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Common Gulls, 1 brood Tufted Duck (4 Chicks), 1 Stock Dove, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Willow Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff (Gary A James).
- Dagenham Chase LNR: Moulting Male Common Redstart again on the Dick Marrable bee garden fence at 5.20 pm. Also 4 Green Sandpipers, 1 Greenshank and 1 Grey Wagtail on the Slack ( Vince Halley-Frame ).
- Crossness: juv Yellow-legged Gull, 20+ Common Terns, 29 Lapwings, 3 Common Sandpipers, 2 Oystercatchers, 4 Swallows, 4 Sand Martins, 20 House Martins, 3 Teal (John Archer).
- Paddington Green Area: local Herring Gull colony produced a total of seven young, all now on the wing, no young from Lesser Black-backed Gull pair (Des McKenzie).

- Walthamstow Res: 178 Tufted Duck on No.5 res. Peregrine (prob ad. M.) sat on pylon at bottom of No.2 res. (Paul Whiteman)

- East India Dock Basin: at least one pair of Sand Martin confirmed as having bred in drainage hole (Nick Tanner per DMc).
- East India Dock NR: 1 little Ringed Plover feeding on edge of smaller island 12:30(MGoodall)
