Kitsuki Otimitsu

• Description : Otimitsu was born a Mirumoto and excelled at the niten (two sword) style his people had made famous. His mastery of arms was only matched by his keen perceptive skills, and this didn't go unnoticed. An uncle of his, Kitsuki Kimura, before Otimitsu's Gempuku, made a deal with Otimitsu's family and took the young man as his apprentice. This was a bit of a shock at first it Otimitsu. It became a blessing though, as for so long he never understood his sense of distrust of everyone, until his uncle explained that it was Otimitsu's gift, it was all but impossible to convincingly lie to the young man. After several years in the Kitsuki magistrates, the Emerald Champion met Otimitsu, and offered him a place in the Emerald magistrates. Now though he is often given assignments far from home in the wilder places in the Empire. His combat skill, and abilities in nature give him a great advantage, also his ability to ferret out lies makes life uncomfortable in the courts of Rokugan.
